Better Fence Company was established in 1999 in DeLand, FL and is co-owned by Chris Newman and Jason Harcus, both long-time residence of Volusia County. 

Better Fence Company offers a one-stop solution for homeowners that are looking to install a property fence, entrance gate, storage shed or a car port on their property.  If necessary, Better Fence Company’s services can also include obtaining any local permits needed and handling the removal and disposal of old fencing.  “We understand that time is valuable to our customers” said co-owner Chris Newman.  “That is why we try to make our process as “hands free” for them as possible.”  Better Fence Company also maintains a local office with a Showroom.  “We believe that maintaining an office for our customers to come in and talk to us is a great competitive advantage” said Newman.  “We understand that having a fence or an access gate installed can be a big investment for our customers.  They should have the ability to come into our showroom, view our products and ask as many questions as they need to until they feel comfortable enough working with us and with the products we offer.”
