Equipment Operator
Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers is looking for experienced Equipment Operators to join our Ocoee Fl. branch.
This position reports to the Site & Underground Department Manager.
Day to Day:
• Working closely with the Foremen on the job sites to effectively operate loaders, excavators, dozers, and graders to clear trees, lay storm/sewer/water pipes, and do earthwork.
• Attend monthly safety meetings at the local branch.
• Working outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons including summer months.
• Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending, lifting, and climbing. Lifting will include up to 70 pounds.
Qualifications
What are the Qualifications for this position?
• Minimum 1-year experience operating Loaders, Excavators, Dozers, and/or Graders.
• An in-depth knowledge of grades and proficiency on grading equipment is required.
• The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and a good communicator.
• Must be able to wear proper protective equipment as required on all job sites.
• Working outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons including summer months.
• A Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and pre-employment background check screening including 10 years of employment verification is required to be hired at Wayne Automatic.
