Summary of Position
As a Bartender at SoNapa Grille, you will be responsible for exceeding the customer expectations by providing them with friendly, prompt and attentive service that is tailored to the guest's pace and needs.
What am I responsible for as a Bartender at SoNapa Grille
• I will have full SoNapa Grille server experience before I begin bar training.
• I will manage my bar guests experience and pace following SoNapa Grille hospitality standards .
• I will make a memorable first and last impression by letting my personality shine.
• I will use my extensive food and beverage menu knowledge to share favorites and provide recommendations.
• I will anticipate needs, process Guests orders, and take payment in a hospitable, timely manner.
• I will follow state and local guidelines to ensure we serve our guests responsibly.
• I will have a deep knowledge of our wine list including varietals, flavor profiles and winery history.
• I will efficiently craft every drink following SoNapa Grille recipes and serve customers responsibly.
• I will use all tools provided, including jiggers and measuring devices, to ensure recipe adherence and financial accountability.
• I will be required to have an extensive knowledge of our food and drink menu and be able to recommend and reinforce the customers' orders.
• I will also be a resource for Servers in the restaurant to answer questions about all things relating to wine, spirits and beer.
• I will be committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift and prepares drinks with proper safety equipment, tools and recipe specs with further direction from Management.
• I will maintain a clean and sanitized workplace throughout my shift.
• I will serve in a responsible manner and inform my leadership team of potentially intoxicated guests.
• I will handle money in a responsible manner.
• I will support the entire restaurant as needed.
• I will follow the direction of my leadership team while supporting the Mission of SoNapa Grille.
Bartender Qualifications
• I must be 21 years of age.
• I must be able to engage my guests and my team in a guest-driven hospitable manner.
• I must have an advanced working knowledge of a full-service restaurant.
• I must have a high level of money handling experience.
• I must be able to work 5-6 hours on my feet.
• I must be able to take direction from my leadership team.
