Compensation Pay Range:
$78,000.00 - $99,000.00
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Responsible for supporting the administration, configuration, and user support of products in the Atlassian stack. Works directly with end users, other administrators and the infrastructure team to address issues and fully utilize the suite of tools and applications. This role will have a focus in the administration and management of Jira.
This position can be worked remotely in the United States.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Supports the administration of Atlassian stack on a daily basis.
• Works closely with internal teams to understand their business challenges to build solutions that meet their unique needs.
• Support and resolve issues as they arise with Jira Projects and Confluence spaces.
• Monitor the ticketing system and address issues in a timely manner.
• Gather requirements for business processes and determine ways to optimize and improve Jira/Confluence setup and workflows, as well as identify where functionality needs to improve to meet user requests.
• Open support tickets with 3rd party vendors to resolve issues as needed.
• Assist with the installation of Jira and Confluence plugins/applications.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Atlassian products.
• Identify tasks that are routine and propose ways to automate or streamline them.
• Support senior administrators with integrations to external systems, ensuring they are optimized.
• All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of previous IT administration
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work well in a team environment and independently
• Ability to write technical documentation
• Proficient verbal and written communications skills
Desired:
• A Bachelor of Science in a technology related field
• Experience administrating development platforms such as the Atlassian tool suite
• 2+ years of experience administering and supporting Jira
• Experience supporting and collaborating with different teams
• Knowledge and experience with JQL
• Experience with Jira Service Management (JSM)
• Experience supporting a cloud environment
