Our client, a well known broadcast media and entertainment company is urgently looking to hire a Senior Media Analyst to join their team in New York, NY
• * This is a 4 month contract with full benefits package on a W2!
Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelors degree or masters degree
• 4+ years of progressive, post-graduate experience in data analytics, media research, or data science
• Expertise in AWS, SQL (advanced level), Spark, R, or Python, with comprehensive knowledge of relational databases, big data retrieval methods, and the ability to leverage these skills in a strategic, organizational context.
• A deep understanding of the broadcast/cable, Connected TV/OTT, and digital media landscapes, with the ability to anticipate trends and apply this knowledge to strategic decision-making

• Oversee the strategic research and evaluation of third-party measurement (3PM) currency providers, guiding the analysis of measurement data to refine and enhance transaction models at a strategic level.
• Direct comprehensive data investigations, leveraging a sophisticated blend of 3PM data from diverse sources and use cases. This includes advanced log-level analysis employing proprietary first-party data alongside third-party data from the Audience Insights Hub, to inform decision-making and strategy.
• Forge strong, strategic collaborations with product, IT, and client strategy teams to shape and enhance advertising offerings, driving innovative go-to-market and sales strategies with a focus on long-term growth and market leadership.
• Employ and interpret advanced research tools such as Nielsen, Kantar, iSpot, and VideoAmp for in-depth media consumption analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and advertising campaign performance evaluation
• Lead the presentation of critical research findings to senior executive leadership, influencing decision-making at the highest levels.
• Champion the development and implementation of new business models, exploring alternative currencies, and laying the groundwork for a unified media currency that bridges digital and linear platforms, positioning at the forefront of industry innovation.
• Lead, inspire, and cultivate the professional development of your team, providing mentorship, career guidance, and opportunities for growth
• Act as a key stakeholder in managing comprehensive test and learn projects, overseeing timelines, agendas, deliverables, analysis, and findings, to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the Measurement & Impact teams on high-level measurement projects and learning initiatives, driving the company's strategic objectives forward through insightful analysis and data-driven decision-making
