The role:

Our Facilities Management Team is regarded as a leader in the provision of facilities management services to one of Australia’s leading retail landlords. Your success will hinge on your ability to provide superior client service, cultivate strong tenant relationships, prepare and manage reports, maintain contracts and achieve set objectives. A successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to think strategically whilst having the capacity to interface with other members of the team.

Key tasks:
• Manage building operational and risk management including establishing & implementing Planned Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Build and maintain strong tenant relationships
• Undertake 6 monthly audits of access cards and keys
• Conduct regular inspections of the entire building, including all common areas and plant rooms
• Drive sustainability goals including waste / recycling, energy and water efficiencies
• Day-to-day management of all matters relating to operations, engineering, risk and compliance
• Assist clients and their consultants with budgeting, forecasting, tendering and management of capital works
• Responsible for implementing Knight Frank’s Integrated Management System, including all policies and procedures
• Prepare and manage the annual operational and capex budgets

Who are we looking for?
• 2 plus years commercial/retail/industrial (as required) experience in the facilities and/or property industry
• Building trade background is preferred but not essential
• Significant work experience and demonstrated success in a similar role or related industry
• Effective communication skills – written communications are succinct
• Ability to analyse and resolve basic issues
• Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach to work
• Supports manager/team decisions
• Proven track record of contract and contractor management
