As the EMEA Event Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of educational events and congresses across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality experiences through our proprietary courses, study clubs, webinars, and other event formats. Provide guidance and leadership to streamline standards and ensure consistent adoption across all regions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement event strategies that align with the company’s educational objectives, ensuring optimal use of resources.
• Oversee all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor management, and logistics, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations (Sunshine act).
• Identify, adopt, and improve business tools and processes to enhance event management efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay abreast of the latest technology and software solutions that can streamline event... planning and execution processes.
• Ensure the quality of event promotion by developing strong communication strategies across both online and offline channels.
• Design and execute marketing campaigns that effectively convey the value of the events to potential attendees.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and utilize a mix of media to maximize reach and engagement.
• Maximize brand impact at congresses by ensuring a strong brand presence through strategic placement, high-quality materials, and engaging activities.
• Implement solid lead generation strategies at congresses to collect valuable contacts and foster potential client relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content for courses, study clubs, and webinars, while adhering to financial guidelines.
• Ensure seamless execution of events, from initial planning stages through post-event evaluation, with a keen eye on cost management.
• Monitor industry trends and participant feedback to continuously improve event offerings and return on investment.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including educational partners, speakers, and attendees, negotiating cost-effective contracts.
• Oversee a team of event coordinators and support staff, providing strong guidance and leadership to ensure team success. Coach and mentor team members to enhance their performance, inform them of best practices, and foster their professional growth.
• Manage the overall event budget, ensuring a good control over budget allocation, monitoring expenditures, and providing regular financial reports to stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor’s degree in Event/Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in team management, preferably within event coordination or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event management, preferably within the EMEA region.
• Proven track record of managing successful educational events and congresses.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the EMEA region.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
• Fluent in English
• Advanced/professional knowledge of any other EU languages (French, Spanish, German, Italian)

COMPUTER SKILLS

Excellent with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related design software (ADOBE).

Experience in working with business management systems including CRM.

Knowledge of business intelligence tools to understand and create activity reports and dashboards is a plus
