Dr. Jacob is a board certified and fellowship trained adult reconstruction surgeon. He has advanced training in hip and knee replacement from the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. He founded Oklahoma Joint Reconstruction Institute in 2014 and is excited to bring his skills and expertise to the Central Oklahoma area.
After moving to Oklahoma, Dr. Jacob quickly realized that there was a great need for a Joint Replacement Center of Excellence. A place Oklahomans' could go to find surgeons with advanced training in Joint Reconstruction. He envisioned a place that could serve the entire state of Oklahoma as well as surrounding states. Oklahoma Joint Reconstruction Institute was founded in August of 2014. Since that time, Dr. Jacob has continued to add highly skilled practitioners starting with the his two Physician Assistants who combine to bring over 36 years of experience. He is excited to announce the addition of Makoplasty Robotically assisted surgery to Community Hospital. He plans to continue to bring cutting edge advancements to the region to provide his patients with state of the art care.
Dr. Paul Jacob is a Board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacement. A native of Akron, OH, he began his medical career as a physical therapist. He attended medical school at Ohio University and completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Doctors Hospital and Grant Medical Center in Columbus Ohio. He went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in adult reconstruction at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic. While at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Jacob was trained on the latest techniques in both surgical and non-surgical treatment of advanced joint disease. Dr. Jacob brings cutting edge techniques and technology to the Oklahoma City area. He is married to his wife Leah (a native Oklahoman) and has two children.
