We are excited to announce two open positions on the Mount Gravatt Community Centre Board, and we invite you to consider becoming a vital part of our organisation.

About Mount Gravatt Community Centre:

Our organisation provides a range of essential services to the community, including but not limited to:

Aged care in-home services

Neighbourhood Centre activities and programs

Emergency Relief, including food parcels and financial support

Employment and training programs

Social Isolation and Loneliness

We are looking for board members who can demonstrate skills and experience in these areas and possess a strong understanding of the quality and compliance requirements. Business, Community and Government experience is highly valued.

Objective: Ensure sound financial management and reporting.

Responsibilities:

All of the general board member requirements

Review financial reports provided by the organisation accountant prior to board meetings

Present financial reports at board... meetings.

Review annual budgets with CEO and Accountant

Review audited financial reports with CEO and Accountant

Sign off on any documents required by government departments

Support the CEO and Accountant in financial matters

Requirements:

Resume type document with experience and skills

National Police Check Required

Must never been disqualified from managing cooperations

Insolvency Check will be undertaken as required by the Aged Care Commission
