About this job

Our client provides expert technical and laboratory support for the vast portfolio of clients in the (bio)pharmaceutical development sectors. They provide services that support the development of therapeutics (including: mAbs, bispecific antibodies, peptides, viruses, cell and gene therapies) throughout their lifecycle, spanning all phases within the pre-clinical and clinical development.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Scientist specialising in the analysis BioPharma & Pharma products to join their team in Manchester.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

Analysis of a wide range of samples matrices using HPLC, SEC-MALS, IEX, CIEX, ELSD, AAA & more

A degree (BSc, MSc, PhD) in Chemistry (or related Scientific discipline)

>3 years experience within regulated laboratories (GxP) performing analysis of (bio)pharmaceutical products

Prior experience developing and validating... analytical methods to GxP regulations

Excellent communication skills & the ability to work well within a team

Experience training & mentoring scientists

Taking a leading role across multiple projects, including routine analysis, method development/validation

Analyse, interpret & summarise results for presentations, both internally & externally

Assist in the development and training of Analysts and perform peer review of team members work
