The State of Alaska - Environmental Health Department is seeking an energetic and proactive Environmental Health Officer (EHO) to join our team in Fairbanks. As an EHO, you will be responsible for coordinating office work, directing the activities of other Environmental Health Officers, conducting inspections, and reviewing plans. This position also involves travel to remote communities in Interior and Northern Alaska.

Compensation
• Hourly rate: Between $29.16 and $33.60

Responsibilities
• Coordinate office work and oversee the activities of other Environmental Health Officers
• Conduct inspections and plan reviews of retail food and public facilities
• Inspect food processors, including seafood manufacturers
• Travel to remote communities across Interior and Northern Alaska

Requirements
• Environmental Health Officer 2 (Range 16) Qualifications:
