The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided through the WCHN across South Australia, providing care to those with severe and/or complex mental health needs. CAMHS provides services to: infants / children / young people up to 18 (16 in some areas) for community, statewide and hospital-based services for perinatal women. The Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified and registered RN1/RN2 Mental Health Nurse to join CAMHS Mallee Ward in a fulltime , temporary capacity until 16 Feb 2024 . As a Mental Health Clinical Nurse you will assess, educate, counsel and co-ordinate group work. These are considered essential components of care which is directed towards the attainment of optimum consumer health and recovery. This involves consultation and liaison with other professional disciplines and nongovernmental organisations.
