We are looking for an intermediate junior geotechnical engineer to provide input into a wide range of projects and further develop their skills and expertise in finding solutions to geotechnical issues. This is a fantastic opportunity to start or advance your career.

About the Role

Plan and carry out site investigations for projects such as slope instability, pipelines, landfills and building foundations
Conduct engineering geological model development, slope stability modelling and liquefaction assessments
Carry out remedial works design, construction supervision and monitoring... systems
Write technical reports
Support projects by coordinating subcontractors and liaising with regulators and client contacts
Service external clients directly or provide specialist input to projects across other PDP workgroups and regions in the areas of slope instability, pipeline route selection/construction, foundations/dams/landfill, as well as wastewater reticulation, stormwater disposal and landfills

Skills and Experience

Degree in Engineering Geology or Engineering with geotechnical specialisation
We require a minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical investigations
Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organisational skills
Creative thinking to find innovative and sound solutions for our clients
A collegial, team-player with a can-do attitude
