Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the design and production teams to conceptualize, develop, and execute original textile designs that align with our brand's aesthetic and market trends.

Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging trends, colors, and materials in the textile industry, and translate those insights into innovative design concepts.

Develop mood boards, sketches, and digital renderings to communicate design ideas effectively to internal teams and external partners.

Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing... ensuring designs can be accurately reproduced on different textile materials and scales.

Experiment with various dyeing, printing, and finishing techniques to achieve desired visual and tactile effects.

Stay updated with advancements in textile technology and sustainable practices, and integrate these aspects into design processes where applicable.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques to contribute fresh perspectives and refine design concepts.

Work closely with vendors and suppliers to select appropriate materials, oversee sample production, and ensure design integrity throughout the production process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and address any design-related challenges that arise during production.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
years of experience in textile design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of creative and innovative textile designs.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
Solid understanding of color theory, pattern design, and textile production processes.
Strong knowledge of different textiles, fibers, and printing techniques.
Excellent communication skills to convey design ideas and collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A keen eye for detail, trends, and the ability to think outside the box.
Passion for sustainability and a demonstrated commitment to integrating eco-friendly practices into design processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
