Your role in the team
• Responsibility for the infrastructure and cloud architecture in the ticket shop, as well as its operability.
• Review and continuous improvement of the existing cloud and infrastructure strategy.
• Responsibility for analyzing and resolving performance and infrastructure issues in our cloud and on-prem environments.
• Control and implementation of the selection process for infrastructure components and cloud services.
• Structure and optimization of infrastructure guidelines including quality assurance and documentation requirements, as well as measuring and controlling compliance with these guidelines and requirements.
• Proactive analysis, assessment of the infrastructure and recommendation, control and implementation of improvement measures.
• Creation and ongoing modernization of the technical infrastructure architecture for new and existing systems including definition and further development of non-functional requirements (NFA).
• Working closely with... operations and infrastructure teams.
• Close cooperation with those responsible for architecture (software/component architecture) in agile development teams.
• Advising the implementation teams on technology, infrastructure, tools and documentation.
• Support of technical teams as well as requirements and participation in the design and implementation of proof of concepts or prototypes in the area of infrastructure and cloud.
• Market observation, checking new technologies and ensuring future viability of the infrastructure architecture.
• Evaluate the infrastructure of the ticket shop and its components and plan improvement measures/refactorings.
• Participation in the creation of cost and effort estimates together with those responsible for the project or implementation.

Our expectations:

Qualifications
• ideally has a certification for Microsoft Azure.
• are familiar with most of these technologies: API gateway, security know-how in the cloud context (WAF, DDos,..), Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, ELK-Stack, Prometheus, OpenID Connect, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Microservices .
• bring excellent communication skills, high self-motivation and very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English.

Experience
• has experience with cloud infrastructure and has already set up and operated continuous integration / delivery / deployment.
• are ideally familiar with highly scaled solutions on premise and in the public cloud and can optionally also have experience with migration of workloads to cloud or hybrid approaches.

Education
• have many years of professional experience as an infrastructure architect or in a comparable function. A completed (technical) university degree related to IT or comparable training is an advantage.
