b. Physics -- Knowledge and prediction of basic principles, laws, their interrelationship.

· Teaching and learning competencies – knowledge of principles and methods of andragogy using instructional strategies for individuals and groups of mixed abilities. Well-versed in evolving educational technology. Expert in measuring of learning attainments and challenges.

a. Essential Communication Skills – competent and skilled in four language skills of English, Urdu and local languages. Command over subject vocabulary.

B. Duties/Tasks

1. Prepare course materials such as syllabi, dedicated lesson plans, homework assignments, and handouts.

2. Prepare and conduct sessions with students on topics specified in the syllabi.

3... Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.

4. Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others.

5. Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.

6. Supervise students' laboratory work.

7. Maintain regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students.

8. Supervise students’ voluntary work.

9. Keep abreast of developments in Economics by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences.

10. Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction especially for the hobby clubs.

11. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.

12. Advise students on academic and vocational curricula, and on career issues.

13. Identify learning materials and supplies such as textbooks, reference books and laboratory equipment.

14. Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and learning issues.

15. Participate in student recruitment, registration, and placement activities.

16. Serve on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, administrative matters, and academic issues.

17. Perform administrative duties when required such as serving as department head.
