KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a young, energetic finance executive to join our team based in Sri Lanka. You will be reporting to the Management Accountant. The following outlines key responsibilities.

Handling ledger accounts, accounts receivable and payable accounting functions.

Conducting stock/ fixed asset verification and update accounts.

Statutory handling (VAT/SVAT/Tax/Etc.,).

Maintenance of bank accounts and entering all the receipts & payments to the... system and bank reconciliation.

Prepare monthly reconciliation of the control accounts.

Maintaining and orderly filing system of all the accounting related documents for relevant

transactions.

Customer outstanding statements, customer accounts reconciliation and vendor accounts reconciliation.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We believe personality and attitude are far more important than educational qualifications. Therefore, we want the ideal candidate to be an energetic go-getter with great people skills. We treat everyone equally thus, there is no place for ego in our company.

Specifically for this role, we are looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. As finance executive, we expect you to be fully, or part qualified in either ICASL or CIMA. You would ideally have been a finance executive for a similar company in the food & beverage industry.

Beyond the technical requirements, it is essential to have a good command of written and spoken English, as you will be dealing with colleagues in other markets and international suppliers.
