We are a dynamic and high-growth area of our business and support our ever-expanding client base by recognizing that every organization is unique and delivering exceptional client service centered on trust and creating insight, enhancing performance, and delivering value.The opportunityWe are currently hiring for a Director, Forensic Accounting & Compliance role, where candidate should be a highly experienced professional responsible for leading and managing complex forensic accounting investigations and engagements across the Middle East, with a focus on Forensic Accounting & Compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of forensic accounting principles and techniques, experience in dealing with the courts in the middle east, as well as experience in litigation support and conducting investigations in the region.Key responsibilitiesAs a director you will be responsible to lead and manage complex forensic accounting investigations and engagements, including fraud... corruption, litigation support with a focus on expert witness and courts related matters. You will develop and implement forensic accounting strategies and methodologies, while conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and preparing reports. Plus, you shall testify in court and other legal proceedings while staying up to date on the latest forensic accounting developments. Moreover, you will be a mentor for junior forensic accountants and will guide them to develop their skills sets. You will be responsible to represent the firm to clients and other stakeholders and develop and maintain relationships with key clients and referral sources. Furthermore, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities and manage and develop team members. Along with this you will also ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.Skills and attributes for successPro- activity, accountability, and results- driven people will flourish in this environment. This will have a huge impact on those around you and help promote a positive work ethic.To qualify for the role, you must have• CPA or CFA or equivalent qualification.• 10+ years of experience in forensic accounting, with at least 5-7 years in the Middle East and 3 years in the litigation support and courts related matters space.• 2-3 years experience in external audit• Experience in conducting investigations in the Middle East and the compliance risk space.• Strong report writing skills, especially in Arabic.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Strong client relationship management skills.• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects.• Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.• Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the Middle East business environment.• Experience with the structure of ERP and accounting systems• Awareness of different compliance reporting tools and multiple technology platforms such as to ensure the smooth delivery of any system implementation.Ideally, you ll also have• Experience in the MENA regionWhat we look forWe are interested in entrepreneurs who have the confidence to develop and promote a brand-new strategic vision both internally and externally.
