Salary: $3000 - $5000

Location: Tampines / Jurong East

Working Hours

6 days per week – rotating shift including PH with off in lieu
• AM – 0700 to 1430
• PM – 1400 to 2130

Job Description:

Plays a central role in providing nursing care to residents
• Ensure resident comfort and safety.
• Prepare case file, check vital signs. Assist doctor with medical rounds and carry out necessary orders and changes.
• Routine care are carried out and documented.
• Medication administration.
• Update resident’s condition to next of kin.
• Support management in the activities and programmes for residents.

Supervisor/Preceptor/Mentor/Coach
• Orientate and conduct OJT for new staff regarding overview of ward setting, equipment, residents, and staff.
• Supervision of EN, NA and HA/HCA in their daily duties.
• Reinforce... compliance and familiarisation with SOP and ENHS.
• Trained new staff on NHELP.
• Disseminate instructions from NM, Head of Nursing etc to staff.
• Roster staff to ensure good skill mix to provide quality care for residents.
• Input of performance appraisal for team to NM

Audit and task force assignments
• Assist in the cross audit of centres.
• Task force for QA, falls, infection control etc

Requirement
• Diploma in nursing.
• Registered nurse with SNB.
• 2-3 years of experience in acute hospital, community hospital or nursing home.
