Job Description

Support Operations department in preparing and submission of new or existing external and internal reports, including but not limited to data understanding & defining extraction rules, data preparation, cleansing, testing, verification, implementation, monitoring and tracking

• Ensure regulatory reports are submitted in an accurate and timely manner

• Provide guidance, subject matter expertise/ regulatory interpretation to the team and other business/functions teams as and when required

• Participate in project work and system implementation, including User Acceptance Testing and ensure project deliverables are met

• Provide support to assess and implement changes to regulatory reporting for new product roll out

• Keep... abreast of regulatory changes and Group guidelines and monitor compliance with local regulatory requirements

• Highlight and escalate (as required) where there are control gaps or not meeting control standards

• Review, update and implement operational procedures and workflows so as to improve efficiency

• Maintain good working relationships with Compliance, IT, Finance and various stakeholders

• Review output and provide coaching of junior staff

• Assist in any ad hoc duties as and when assigned

Other skills required:

• Familiar with Banking Act, MAS banking regulations, SFA, FATCA, CRS, SDIC etc

• Good numerical and analytical skills

• Familiar with handling large data volume using MS Excel macros, VBA or SQL

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure, understand complex business specifications and data requirements

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Qualifications
• Degree in Business, Accountancy and Finance or equivalent
• CPA /CA/ CPA etc preferred but not mandatory
