In this mostly remote position based out of Newcastle, you will work within a small team from project to project, where you will work across front and back end development.

What you’ll be doing:

In this hands on position, you will be working within a small team, using .NET core as well as Angular or React. You will be tasked with providing thought leadership on how best to maximise the use of bespoke software so that technologies are built in a maintainable, effective and fit-for-purpose way.

You will be responsible for the analysis, design, development and support of applications working closely with other developers, testers and architects in your direct and wider team. You will act as a mentor to less experienced developers in the team and be... tasked with providing input in internal meetings where you will advocate for best software engineering practices e.g. automated testing, continuous improvements and continuous delivery.

Experience required:

You will have at least three years of previous demonstrated experience in a similar senior level role. You will be a back end leaning engineer, having previously worked with .NET as well as Angular or React.

You will have exposure to API development and have the ability to troubleshoot and work within CI/CD environment. You will be hands on and have the capability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Desirably, you will have experience with relational databases such as SQL and hold relevant tertiary qualifications in IT. But if you don’t have these, we would love to still hear from you.

Please note: the office is based out of Newcastle and you will be required to come to the office once a quarter.
