Our client, a rapidly growing gold producer, is seeking an experienced Senior Open Pit Mine Geologist to join their team.

You will be responsible for the Geology function and its processes in the open pit and work with the mining team and contractors to maximize ore recovery and minimize dilution while producing high-quality models of the mine geology.
Relevant Degree in Geology;
Planning and organisational skills;
Proficient in using mining software - Vulcan, Datamine, Surpac, Micromine and Leapfrog.
Coordinate all geological activities for the mining operation and in particular grade control;
3D interpretation of data... generating Grade Control models for mine planning as per the mine schedule;
Supervision of ore zone mining - maximising recovery, minimising dilution;
Supervision and Management of grade control drilling programs;
Oversee high quality technical reporting in the compilation of daily grade reports, weekly and monthly production reports;
Participate in Geology Department and control systems development;
Ensure all benches and walls are mapped, with information used for development of 3D geological models;
