Major responsibilities
• Condense and peruse budgets and income statement forecasts
• Help out with monitoring and maintaining internal accounting controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
• Might have to demonstrate intricate financial subjects to non-financial staff members in special projects
• Guide varying aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual close process (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and trend analysis, variance analysis)
• Interpret concluding results at the corporate and division levels
• Contribute in the production of monthly financial reporting and other business data
• Come up with creative alternatives and recommendations to revise costs and improve financial performance of a company
• Previous experience in assisting internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits
• Play a part in ensuring adequate controls and procedures
• Analyze and query a considerable amounts of data
• Provide assistance in annual budgeting process

Requirements
• Less than one year of experience required
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
• Solid computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
• Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight
• Proven knowledge of Oracle NetSuite Technologies
• Microsoft Excel experience
• Purchase Orders experience preferred
• Budget forecasting experience desired
• Travel Expense experience
• Well-founded grasp of Adaptive Insights
• Deep understanding of Travel Expense
• BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
• Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
