Job Summary

Full Stack Developer with focus on Angular and HCL Digital Experience/ WebSphere Portal)

Responsibilities
• Determining the structure and design of web pages.
• Developing features to enhance the user experience.
• Creating reusable and testable modules and components.
• Debug and unit test the code/module.
• Integrating with different APIs.
• Log analysis and application troubleshooting.
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
• Building reusable code for future use.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
• Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.
• Implementation of back-end APIs as per business requirements.
• Maintenance of all involved web services.
• Implementation and update of Report design and layout.
• Investigation Issue through root cause analysis of reported issue.
• Fixing priorities based on severity... of issues and resolving it.
• Schedule plan between support request and development request.
• Functionality of the application should be maintained after implementing coding changes.

Qualifications
• Degree in computer science or related field.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of key design principles.
• Experience in IBM WebSphere Portal.
• Proficiency in Angular [ Creating modules and components which extend the elements and modules of Angular].
• Proficiency in 5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and jQuery.
• Advanced Experience within Java, J2EE, JSP, Hibernate Framework and Servlet.
• Experience and good understanding of GitHub or any SCM tools.
• Basic understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Basic understanding of REST API development and support.
• Basic understanding of IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Basic understanding of IBM App Connect, IBM MQ.
• Basic understanding of Oracle Database and DB queries.
• Basic understanding of API Integration, DB Stored Procedures.
• Basic understanding of Reporting tools (BIRT Reports).
• Basic understanding of Eclipse IDE and IBM Rational Application Developer.
• Basic understanding of FileNet, LDAP server.
• Good exposure to testing tool such as SOAP UI, Postman.
• 7+ years of experience as Full Stack Developer.

Nice to have
• Experience with Bootstrap.
• Experience with Figma is a plus.
• Experience with server-side CSS.
