To strengthen our Digital Forensics ... Incident Response team we are looking for a

IT Security Incident Responder (m/f/d)
(IT forensics specialist, computer scientist, IT security engineer, business IT specialist or similar).

As an IT Security Incident Responder (m/f/d) you take over the role of the Incident Manager in case of concrete security incidents of our customers. Furthermore, you conduct workshops, trainings and emergency exercises of the IT landscape and emergency management.

Founded in 1998, we are now the market leader in the field of penetration testing and employ a team of about 160 people at four locations in Tübingen, Frankfurt am Main, Munich and Vienna. Our work focuses on hacking web applications and IT infrastructures of well-known customers of all sizes and industries, many of whom we have been advising for many years.
YOUR TASKS WITH US
• As an Incident Responder, you will take on the role of Incident Manager for specific security incidents of our customers. These range from targeted phishing attacks to complete compromise of the entire network.
• You conduct workshops, trainings and emergency exercises to prepare and further develop the IT landscape and emergency management.
• You lead the attack path reconstruction.
• As a forensic analyst, you examine devices such as clients, servers, and mobile devices for traces of attacks and tampering. This ranges from email fraud to malware reverse engineering.
• Visit customers, network maintenance to Kolleg:innen, customers and business partners are a matter of course for you.
• You stay on the ball and develop your professional and technical knowledge continuously.
YOUR PROFILE
• A degree in digital forensics, computer science, IT security, information systems, or a STEM field of study.
• Great interest and curiosity for IT security and preferably with first work experience in pentesting or incident response.
• Broad expertise in classic IT technologies and initial experience working with forensic tools and data backup and recovery.
• Willingness to travel and participate in on-call duties. This also includes assignments at night and on weekends.
• Professional demeanor and good communication skills.
• Very good knowledge of German and good command of English, both written and spoken.
