Join our Production Management team in Salzburg, Austria (temporary position) and tell stories that go beyond the ordinary Take charge of live and non-live productions from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, staffing, logistics, creating efficient workflows and processes. The goal is always to have "a good story well told" with high production value and cost-effectiveness.
Job Description
IN A NUTSHELL
In this role, you'll oversee all phases of a production (owned and commissioned), from initial planning, budgeting, scheduling and contract negotiations to stakeholder management. You'll ensure that all productions are executed and delivered smoothly, efficiently, safely, on time and within budget. Experience in working with federations and sound knowledge, especially in live but also in non-live production, is... an important requirement to have fun in this role.
ENSURE QUALITY
Being on-site, you'll make sure production processes run efficiently, manage productions and implement new standards and guidelines. You'll assess best practices and improve all aspects of production management if needed. Establishing and maintaining clear lines of communication between content and the supporting departments such as legal, finance and procurement is part of this role as well.
COLLABORATION
You'll work hand in hand with other departments involved in the production processes and ensure a smooth collaboration and increase efficiency across all along. You'll be responsible to develop a strong network of established companies and other talent like new production partners, creatives, and vendors.
FINANCE
You'll handle the financial documentation using global templates. You'll report to the respective stakeholders and the Finance team and set up filing and support systems based on the global structure.
Qualifications
Thorough understanding of the production, editorial and technical processes involved in creating a range of programmes across various formats
A track record in commissioning with at least 6 years of meaningful professional experience in production management
Up to date knowledge of relevant broadcasting regulations, relevant legislation, regulations, and associated procedures, including copyright, data protection and public liability
Excellent communication and organizational skills, problem solving mindset, attention to detail and a methodical approach to your tasks
Fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are not required but will be considered an asset
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2,208 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
