Job Summary :

Responsible for the activities in the concrete mixer production functions. Ensures manufacturing of concrete mixers to the international quality and standards. And responsible to implement and practice safe working atmosphere.

Must have skills :
• Engineering drawings drafting & reading.
• Basic welding techniques.
• Basic Hydraulics & Pneumatics system
• Soft skill in software like MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Projects), AutoCAD and CNC Nesting Program

Nice to have skills :
• Good interpersonal relationship for effective manpower handlin
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Roles and responsibilities :
• Responsible for the manufacturing process of concrete mixer assembly in line production
• Ensuring the material / machines availability in production line to produce planned target by close co-ordination with inter- department.
• Monitoring of sub assembly stock status & work allocation to the workmen as per the priority
• Manpower allocation plan... according to mixer dispatch commitment adherence.
• Update supporting documents for MIS record and keep it up to date for the precise data in MIS
• Responsible for ensuring the shop floor conditions in comply with the TPM practices.
• To participate in daily / weekly meeting related to TPM activities and perform on the points assigned to him as responsible.
• Responsible for record, monitor & maintain his respective pillar documents related to TPM Practices
• Monitoring production progress and problem solving as and when required and achieve planned target by ensuring uninterrupted process flow between the workstations.
• Develop & display the standard operating procedure (SOP) at shop floor for all runner model of mixers and keep it up to date.
• Deploying untrained workmen on new workstations and provide him on the job training to strengthen the skilled workmen availability.
• Attend weekly/monthly review meetings on process issues, despatch plan and interdepartmental co-ordinations.
• Work order operational confirmation posting on SAP for the mixer assembled in line at real time.
• Raise line rejection report for the defective/ damaged parts and ensure material accountability at production line.
• Ensure ECN / IOM amendment in shop floor and give feedback to Quality & design dept.
• Communicate the sample material assembly fitment feasibility & functional compliance to Quality department.
• BOM validation for any new mixer models and communicate the changes/corrections required to design department to ensure uninterrupted process flow in future.
• Conduct daily toolbox meeting at shop floor and discuss with workmen about the perennial issues related the product quality, 5S adherence & unsafe acts to create awareness among them and ensure progressive.
• Responsible for maintenance of documents related to department functions in compliance with the ISO Audit, OSHAS Audit
• Responsible for participating in Material Inventory audit and showcase the WIP & FG counts to the auditor.
• Ensure the shop floor housekeeping conditions & workmen safety at the highest level of industrial practice.
• Contribution in cost saving in concrete mixer production process.
• Coordinate with respective department for on time mixer dispatch.
• Impart knowledge & educate the shopfloor workmen as a part of skill potential development program.
• Impart knowledge & develop the successor within the department as a team development program
