In this unique role, you will perform operational functions related to account and cash applications, including account reconciliation ensuring proper application of funds, research, and resolution of discrepancies.

Role Responsibilities
• Multiple sources operations reconciliations (processors, banks, FX transactions)
• Reconcile a variety of general ledger accounts according to Corporate Policies and Procedures and ensure the match between subledger and ledger... systems.
• As part of your role, you will assist in the preparation of the backups for Journal Entries and Certifications for GL team, reports, and daily account reconciliations.
• Support audit processes and requests of auditors.
• You will communicate with Stakeholders to find, fix, and Solve queries as well as responsible for escalating issues and follow-up with management as necessary.
• You need to comply with Western Union Internal policies and applicable regulatory and financial reporting requirements.

Role Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in foreign exchange product and Brazil payment system accounting and reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Tools (emphasis on excel).
• Motivated about continuous process improvements and automation.
• Strong English communication skills 67% - B2 (Minimum).
• High sense of urgency, proactivity, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting implementation of projects.
• Matera Ledger and JD experience is a plus.
• Strong retail transaction processor Knowledge is a plus.
