Responsibilities

Accountable for manufacturing process, yield and output in a chemical manufacturing shop floor environment leading 2 shifts with supervisors and operators

Provide clear direction and guidance to production team to achieve company goals

Continuous seek improvements of production facilities, manufacturing procedures and throughput

Work with maintenance team on plant equipment modification and repair projects

Monitor and ensure accurate monthly stock takes for bulk materials and additive chemicals

Maintain, review and update of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, IATF16949 system and documentation

Ensure compliance to HSEQ regulation on the production floor

Conduct safety and fire-fighting drills with HSE department

Coach and mentor team members to develop their potential and prepare for succession planning

Requirement

Degree / Diploma in Engineering

8 to 10 years of people management experience in a... chemical / lubricant / adhesive shop floor manufacturing environment

Trained in six-sigma, lean management with knowledge of TPM will be preferred

Knowledge of blending and filling manufacturing process

Good interpersonal communication skill

Others

Able to work in Tuas areas

Island wide transport will be provided at designated location

Diploma/ Advance Diploma

Minimum of 8 year(s) experience needed for this position
