My client is an established and successful analytical organisation in the Cambridge area, providing contract analytical services and chemistry consultancy to a range of pharmaceutical clients. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to hire an Analytical Chemist to join their team in Cambridge. The successful applicant will be responsible for analysing inhalation products; Pressurised Metered-Dose Inhalers (pMDIs), Dry Powder Inhalers (DPIs) and nebulisers.

To be considered for the Analytical Chemist role you will need the following skills and experience;
• BSc (or equivalent experience) in relevant field such as analytical chemistry, forensic science, or pharmaceutical science
• Knowledge of analytical... techniques and instrumentation, such as HPLC, gas chromatography, particle size analysis and dissolution testing
• Experience of testing inhalation products such as Pressurised Metered-Dose Inhalers (pMDIs), Dry Powder Inhalers (DPIs) and nebulisers (impactor tests, delivered dose and particle size analysis) would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of cGMP and regulatory guidelines
