The Accountant is responsible for determining corporate cash requirements and maintaining appropriate cash flow. Responsibilities include:
• Managing deposits and disbursements and wire transfer operations
• Daily processing of borrowing base
• Daily reconciliation of bank accounts
• Running daily AP reports, balancing against the GL, and researching variances
• Managing weekly check runs
• Management of Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialists
• Manage cash transfers
• Assist with Quarterly Field Bank Exams
• Assist with Annual Audit
• Create journal entries as needed
The selected Accountant must have a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field; a minimum of 4 years' of related experience; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; highly skilled in math, accounting, and financial purposes; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; as well as a solid understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations.
