What you will be doing

As an experienced UK nurse from the NHS or private sector, you'll join the team as a Registered Learning Disability Nurse to help improve the lives of local adult men and women with a range of complex conditions.

You’ll be working with a range of complex conditions including personality disorder, eating disorders, depression, self-harm, physical health problems and psychological distress such as trauma.

Progresses people through the rehabilitation care pathway to live more independent lives in the community and provide a stabilising environment to prevent further escalation of behaviours which will lead to improved quality of life and independence.

No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine. The shift pattern is 40.

25 hours per week on a two-week rota basis of 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next week. The rota includes days, nights and weekend working.

The Acute service for adult men and women accepts emergency admissions for people who are in crisis and who cannot be safely cared for in the community.
