Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our Technology team.

This role will be based at our Midway Asia office in Hong Kong. This role reports into the Information Security Manager on a permanent basis, with a salary of up to HK$400,000, based on skills and experience.

About the Role...

The Cyber Security Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Merlin Information... Technology Team. They will assist with various IT security activities, including policy and standards compliance, vulnerability management, event monitoring and reporting, risk and threat assessment, incident response, analysis of security tools and processes, and ensuring attraction compliance.

Additionally, the analyst will support Merlin's day-to-day technical IT security and business compliance operations, such as PCI-DSS and Data Protection, aligning with Merlin's information security management framework.

Lastly this role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing information security operations. This involves continuously monitoring and improving policies, controls, and solutions in response to evolving threats and compliance requirements.

About You...
• You will have a track record and experience in technical security, with demonstrable technical IT security knowledge, as well as;
• A good understanding of IT security principles and technologies, including ability to develop policies and processes enabling compliance
• An understanding of industry standards, security controls and guidelines such as NIST, ISO27001, OWASP, STRIDE
• A good understanding of vulnerability management tools
• A good understanding of relevant technologies (such as networks, Servers & Hosting, Applications, encryption, PKI)
• A good understanding of firewall and network monitoring, SIEM, IDS / IPS
• A good understanding of identity access management and privileged identity management.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Good stakeholder management and ability to work as part of a wider team, always promoting IT and information security
• Experience beneficial of compliance with industry regulations such as PCI-DSS and GDPR
• Security certification beneficial (e.g. ISO27001, CEH, Security+)
• Must have a good command of written and verbal English
