We have an exciting new opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join our Futurebuild portfolio here at Easyfairs!

Futurebuild is an established UK event in the built environment that provides the stage for inspiring ideas, innovative solutions and knowledge sharing to drive sustainable construction and help us reach our goal of net zero. The exhibition brings together the entire supply chain to showcase, debate and understand the advancements in sustainable construction and the emerging technologies that will make net zero possible. Futurebuild is about driving positive change.

The main focus of this role is to implement the exhibitor and visitor marketing campaign for the event, including the development of relationships with exhibitors and media partners, utilising the full marketing mix, developing and implementing social media campaigns, managing website developments and amends and executing... the full marketing campaign.

Reporting to our Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will work closely with the team and will be responsible for the execution of the event marketing plan, as well as having an integral role in the smooth running of the event onsite.

Experience in the full event marketing mix is essential for this role; however equally important is the drive and energy to succeed in a fast-growing company.

Essential Criteria:
• Ability to proof read and write content for different marketing channels
• Experience of executing social media campaigns
• Previous experience of using CMS to update websites
• Experience using email marketing platform to create and send emails
• Must have good knowledge of using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Previous experience in events preferably in marketing.
• Confidence to communicate with exhibitors and visitors face to face and by phone.
• Ability to work as part of a team but also has the drive and initiative to work independently.
• The temperament to work under pressure

Desirable Criteria:

Previous experience of the following systems:
• Wordpress
• Sales Force Marketing Cloud
• Gleanin
• Livestorm
• Photoshop
• Creating campaigns on social media
• Experience on creating and updating websites
• Interest in net zero, the built environment and sustainable construction
• Good understanding and ability to use Excel
• 2 years event marketing experience
