Senior Administrator (Student Regulations)

Salary from £32,960 to £37,705 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £40,432 pa inclusive of London allowance

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the foremost social science universities in the world, with a global reach and an international student intake. Student Services plays a central role in LSE’s central administration and our Student Service Centre (SSC), where the post is based, offers mission critical functions that are fundamental to the student experience and educational journey.

This challenging but rewarding post is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career in Higher Education administration. You and your team will be committed to providing an outstanding level of student focused service in the delivery of the planning and management of all SSC... coordinated student regulations, processing of academic appeals and assessment misconduct cases, Exceptional Circumstances and Deferral submissions.

You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. You will excel in a fast-paced student focused administrative environment and be able to effectively manage your own varied workload and use your initiative and problem-solving skills to resolve complex case work and staff and student queries. You will assist the Head and Deputy Head of Student Regulations Management in applying our ethos of continuous improvement and ensure that we continue to provide an excellent service across all relevant areas.

Previous experience within Higher Education administration working in a student facing environment is essential.
