What you will learn and contribute to We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer that will help us creating and expanding the automation infrastructure to build and tests our software products. This role requires someone who is passionate about testing and well-crafted automation, with the goal of building, improving, and maintaining a reliable and easy to use test infrastructure. This role requires proficiency in various aspects of test automation.As part of our team, you will: Be one of the principal owners of the test infrastructure, which includes contributing with your skillset and ideas to extend its capabilities and create new tooling to make the testing of very complex workflows easier for a large team of test engineers. Create and maintain the necessary hardware both on cloud and on premise to guarantee a reliable pool of resources for both automated and manual testing. Work on the Continuous Integration (Gitlab, Jenkins, Azure, VMware) to identify areas of improvement including test execution performance, reliability and cost. Be autonomous and accountable for complex engineering challenges to successfully test and ultimately deliver our software to customers. Interact daily with a development and testing team spread across three time-zones (Italy / US / India) to help debug and solve issue and remove obstacles for the testing team. Your skills and experience You have: Broad experience in test automation and DevOps including most of these tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Docker) Experience managing hardware on a large scale including both on-premise (VMware) and cloud (Azure / AWS / GCP) Proficiency in python Passion for testing and quality in general, including a high attention to details.
