Customers worldwide depend on Oracle Point of Sales (POS) and F&B Management solutions to meet their complex business requirements, control operations and provide superior customer service.

The Oracle Food and Beverage consultant’s primary purpose is to provide the highest customer satisfaction while delivering our Simphony POS platform.

Preferred Qualifications
• Implementation professional who performs high-profile, complex, or very large POS implementations within Restaurants, Hotels or Cruise Ships.
• Analyse business needs and provide recommendations on programming the product hierarchy to address the customer’s specifications. Make modifications to the solution to meet customers’ needs. Assist with end-user training and take the system live after everything has been configured and... everyone is trained. May assist in a presales capacity to help drive sales.
• Three years of experience deploying POS projects/industry software, including two years of consulting experience across multiple Customers preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to the area of focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
• Good F&B/Hotel and IT knowledge is required to guide customers through complex projects as a customer advisor.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Intermediate implementation professional who analyzes customer needs, configures the solution, and installs it at the customer site.

Ensure the solution meets specifications and functions per customer specific operational work flow for multiple concepts, users, and service models. Resolve any gaps in functionality. Train the staff on the use of the new solution, and take the site live on the system after everything has been configured and everyone is trained. Ensure a smooth transition to the new system. Answer operational and application questions and consult the customer in a manner to transfer ownership of the system to the customer. After "go-live", provide technical support to the customer.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant roles. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
