Worley are currently seeking an experienced Underground Logistics Coordinator to join the Tanami project team. This is a site-based role working on an Underground Mine based in the Northern Territory. Tanami is on Aboriginal freehold land 540km northwest of Alice Springs. It is a long-life... low-cost, world-class asset in a core region. The Tanami Expansion 2 project, aims to extend the mine life beyond 2040, investing in a hoisting shaft which will increase the production of the underground mine from 2.6 Mtpa to 3.2 Mtpa

Responsibilities
• Coordinate the logistics of equipment from surface to underground
• Develop and monitor the surface to underground logistics plan and schedule to ensure equipment is moved underground to meet construction requirements,
• Liaise and coordinate with the client operations team and installation contractors regarding equipment movements and traffic to construction work fronts,
• Build and maintain business relationships with key stakeholders and supply vendors,
• Evaluate delivery deadlines and take corrective action to eliminate behind schedule conditions and liaise effectively necessary parties.

About You
• Tertiary qualifications in Logistics/SupplyChain or Procurement, preferred
• Proven experience and knowledge of Project Logistics in a large mining/construction organisation
• Underground construction experience will be highly preferred
• Understanding and knowledge of purchasing and contractual obligations
• Ability to execute logistics plans – with a continuous improvement focus,
