About the role:

The role is in a small but growing practice and will be starting with managing a portfolio of varied clients in East Anglia. The client base will encompass small companies, partnerships and sole trader businesses. In summary:
• Responsible for timely filing of VAT returns, accounts, tax returns, payroll and other statutory returns
• Liaising on a daily basis with clients face to face, by telephone and e mail
• Managing junior staff

The successful candidate will:
• Already have experience and exposure to a wide number of different businesses and looking for additional responsibilities
• ACA/ACCA/AAT newly qualified or nearing qualification
• Be able to identify tax planning opportunities
• Looking for career progression
• Understand the importance of client service
• Be confident in their approach and willing to adapt to our style of... delivery and efficiency
• provide an all round service that includes tax advice, business advice and other assistance that our clients frequently require

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 20 - 37.5 per week

Salary: £28,000.00-£55,000.00 per year

Experience:
• accounting (2 years+ required)
• ACCA/ACA/AAT/ICAEW or equivalent

Schedule:
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:
• Norwich: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:
• GCSE / equivalent or above (preferred)
