A brand new role has become available for a Management Accountant to work for a global Media business based in London on an initial 12 month Fixed term contract

To support the SFM in developing the current financial reporting for the portfolio of channels and assisting with budgeting and forecasting within the management accounting department.

Ensure strong internal control environment identifying weaknesses in current controls and recommending and assisting implementation of new and improved controls.

What you’ll be doing:-
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting on the Group P&L and Balance Sheet (selected Revenue / Direct Cost / Overhead line items). Commentary on key variances and KPIs, interaction with operational Department heads as required.
• Review/reconciliation of selected Balance sheet accounts.
• Support the production of well vetted budgeting, forecasting and business planning for the portfolio of channels.
• Supporting the UK Group and statutory... audit and reporting, assist with preparation of data for the auditors and liaison thereafter.
• Ad hoc analysis for the SFM/FC/VP, Finance as requested.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:-
• Strong Excel skills. Knowledge of Oracle, Essbase and FCCC preferable.
• Proactive with hands-on approach to ensure deadlines are met.
• FP&A experience helpful
