Summary
• To assist in the implementation of the hotel’s Marketing Communications Strategy (goals, tactics and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, Spa and all other revenue generating departments.
• To represent the Sales function on the hotel's Executive Committee in the absence of the Director of Marketing Communication and/or PR Manager.
• To ensure the Online Marketing Communications activities are aligned with the Corporate Marketing Strategy, and the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate.
• To assist marketing communications meetings and departmental briefings when required.
• To establish an annual and fully integrated communications programme in a detailed calendar, with measurable objectives, strategies and action steps.
• Digital media marketing – creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through digital platforms and other strategically relevant... online properties including on line travel agency sites. Initiating the projects that can optimize or enhance digital presence of the hotel.
• Content creation and management– Updating our website, OTA sites and mini site if any – selecting the photos or videos that present hotel brand and writing articles, newsletters, communications materials, and any promotional materials for digital media channels
• Analytics - Using Adobe Analytic and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
• Customer relations – the Community Manager is often responsible for customer support – answering questions however they come in (phone, e-mail, Twitter) and managing any online feedback forums such as GetSatisfaction pages
• To measure, interpret, prioritise and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing communications activities through an ROI analysis and adjust as necessary.
• To monitor all current attitudes and public statements concerning the hotel in foreign and local media.
• To ensure all digital media identified are well updated and monitored to assure the best positioning in hotel ranking.
• To assess advertising needs and opportunities for the hotel and obtain initial approval of digital media campaign proposals from the Director of Sales and Marketing and General Manager.
• To ensure all hotel advertising and collateral (local Food and Beverage, recruitment, etc.) are of consistent high standards, and that they comply with Grand Hyatt’s brand standards.
Qualifications
• Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Digial Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management
• Minimum 3 years work experience Digial Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must
