Country Managing Director – SAP Consultancy

Permanent & Full Time – Colombo, Sri Lanka

On Device Solutions (ODS) is a specialist SAP partner with a focus on building SAP based products and offering consulting services to our customers. The company is headquartered in the UK with offshore offices in India and is growing at a fast pace. As part of our growth strategy we have started operations in Sri Lanka. To lead our team and strategy in Sri Lanka, we are looking for a Managing Director with background in SAP technologies.

ODS is a unique organization to work for in the following ways:

Responsibilities:
• Profit and Loss responsibility of the Sri Lankan entity.
• Statutory compliance with all applicable local laws.
• Overall HR management of the team members in Sri Lanka.
• ISO9001, ISO27001 and other compliance and audit requirements from time to time.
• Hiring and growing the team in Sri Lanka.
• Overall responsibility of logistics like office etc.
• Overall delivery responsibility of the assigned projects.
• Procurement of any required material and services.

Experience & Skills - Must Have
• 8+ years of IT experience preferably SAP experience.
• Experience of 2-3 implementations/support SAP projects as an Architect, Project Manager, Consultant or Business Analyst.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving skills
• Good overall knowledge of various SAP modules and their inter-linkages SAP PM/CS, MM, HR, FICO, WM, CRM, SCM etc.
• Experience of leading a team.

Experience & Skills - Nice to Have
• Experience as a country head for another company.
• Experience in enterprise mobility and related SAP tools set
• Architecture and Design of SAP based solutions for a variety of products and projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Workforce management solutions experience.
• Experience of working in product development environment.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance, Warehouse Management and Materials Management module

Person Specification
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Highly ambitious with willingness to work with people.
• Willingness to work in a Start-up and Scale-up environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
