Job Profile for Production Engineer - 00253736

Production Engineer required for a construction solutions manufacturer based in Hermitage. The ideal candidate will have hands-on engineering experience, with the skills and knowledge to design and produce manufacturing solutions. The successful candidate will have experience in using a range of tools / workshop machinery and be familiar with a variety of manufacturing methods.

Production Engineer Position Overview
• Responsible for advising subcontracted suppliers about relevant issues and dealing with general queries from colleagues
• Diagnosing faults associated with tooling wear and component quality, and to initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Increasing the product output by improving and maintaining production machinery.
• Expected to have sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of

details to be able to recognise when technical problems could be developing in the

production processes.

Production... Engineer Position Requirements
• You will be required to be disciplined, self-motivated and be able to work as both an individual and as part of a team.
• An understanding and knowledge of types of metals, and practical experience with metals, is essential.
• Knowledge of Electrics, Hydraulics and Pneumatics would be desirable.
• The candidate will be familiar with ISO 9001:2015 and safe working practices
• Good general mechanical engineering knowledge, ideally with design & build experience of bespoke automated industrial machines or maintenance of machinery.

• Salary- £26,000 - £30,000
• Monday - Friday
