Our high profile client in the automotive industry is currently looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer - Machining to work at their busy sites in Whitley and Wolverhampton. This role will be onsite and working from home.

Position Description:

• Manufacturing Engineer - specializing in Machining of prismatic designed parts and their feasibility.

• With detailed experience of machining process design for manufacture (est. cutting time, tool design, tooling costs and cutter paths, speeds and feeds etc.).

• Specialist in depth knowledge of cutting tool design and performance.

• In depth GD&T experience and its application to the design of a component.

Skills Required:

• Cutting Tool Technology & machining process design specialist.

• Prismatic part experience (Cylinder Head & Cylinder Block machining)

• Ability to generate Tool Layout

Experience Required:

• Degree / HND / HNC /ONC or relevant experience

• Prismatic Cylinder Head & Block process design and machine cycle... time generation, all essential skills for the role Part design for manufacture expertise

Experience Preferred:

• Experience is the key factor in this role

INSIDE IR35

40 hours per week

12 months rolling contract with the view to extend

Up to £33p/h umbrella co rate (depending on experience), PAYE option is available
