The Cyber Security Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that Windstream's systems and practices are compliant with industry and regulatory standards. The specialist will develop and implement practices to ensure that cybersecurity measures are up-to-date and effective. The role will involve analyzing risks, developing compliance programs, creating reporting/responses, and providing recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Conduct regular reviews and reporting to assess compliance with security requirements and standards.

+ Provide guidance and support to other departments regarding cybersecurity compliance for systems and networks.

+ Coordinate with other departments to ensure that cybersecurity policies are aligned with business objectives.

+ Develop and implement procedures and reporting programs related to cybersecurity compliance for Windstream systems and networks.

+ Provide clear and concise presentations and reporting.

+ Analyze security risks and recommend solutions to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards, including the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations.

+ Stay up to date with industry and regulatory changes related to cybersecurity compliance.

Job Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

+ 5 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance for telecommunications systems and networks, auditing, or related field.

+ Knowledge of industry and regulatory cybersecurity standards, such as the FCC regulations, SOX and PCI.

+ Preferred - experience with FEDRAMP

+ Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, reporting related to cybersecurity compliance for systems and networks.

+ Strong analytical to assess complex systems and identify vulnerabilities and problem-solving skills to identify and remediate security risks.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, Legal, and Cyber Security.

+ Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors.

+ Excellent attention to detail to identify potential security risks and ensure compliance with regulations.

+ Industry certifications such as PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) are highly desirable.

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: College degree in a Technical or related field and 5 years professional level experience with 0-1 year supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 7 years professional level related Technical experience with 0-1 year supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Technical experience required.
