About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W0CUAA US ARMY FUTURES COMMAND. Information Security (INFOSEC) Subject Matter Expert, support Science and Technology (S and T) Research Technology Protection (RTP) as key member of the DOIS RTP Branch.

Duties
• Serve as Technology Protection Cell member, orchestrate and synchronize AFC, DoD, Intelligence Community (IC) and non-traditional partners to coordinate the protection of technologies identified in the Critical Technologies Protection List.
• Work with agency and DoD executive agents for horizontal protection, anti-tamper, and Technology Protection Tasks Force to blend multifaceted approaches to protection to a cohesive, executable requirement for S and T Research and modernization.
• Serve as a RTP representative on multiple government boards and working groups to include DoD?s Technology Protection Security Working Group (TPSWG) and DAG2 lead protection programs.
• Collaborate with affiliated S and T and AFC subordinate teams participating in critical technology research and acquisition to identify essential technological elements and recommend classification or other control measures.
• Provide oversight and direct information security programs across the entire spectrum. Lead all DOIS INFOSEC-related matters and resolve routine and non-routine security policy and procedural problems related to INFOSEC programs throughout AFC.
• Develop and maintain information security programs and processes, Classification Manager Instruction, experimentation support, Security Classification Guides support, and all associated information technology protection activities.
• Advise on emerging technology protection requirements. Execute policy requiring the R and D community to complete assessments of early research to identify developing innovative and potentially critical technology.
• Provide strategic guidance to the S and T, R and D and Technology Protection Officers in support of the AFC technology protection mission. Interpret policy and procedures via command directives, orders and instructions.
• Synchronize technology and program protection(s) efforts in the Defense Industrial Security Program and apply multiple security disciplines in the business/industrial environment.
• Identify and ensure that all appropriate technology and program protection requirements are incorporated into acquisition and contract documents, and verify implementation at all industrial facilities.
• Provide security support for Headquarters, AFC in all matters pertaining to INFOSEC coordination with other command security personnel. Serve as alternate Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) specialist for AFC
