Job Summary:

As a Dental Lab Technician, you will play a vital role in the fabrication and customization of dental prosthetics and appliances. Using your technical expertise, attention to detail, and knowledge of dental materials, you will be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality dental restorations that meet the specifications provided by dental professionals.

Responsibilities:
• Fabricate dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and veneers, based on prescriptions and dental impressions received from dentists.
• Utilize a variety of dental laboratory equipment, tools, and materials to complete assigned tasks, including waxing, casting, polishing, and finishing.
• Prepare models and casts from impressions, ensuring accuracy and proper alignment.
• Select and mix appropriate dental materials, such as ceramics, acrylics, and metals, to achieve desired aesthetics and functionality.
• Perform adjustments and modifications to restorations as required, ensuring proper fit, occlusion, and patient comfort.
• Collaborate with dental professionals, including dentists and dental technicians, to ensure effective communication and accurate interpretation of specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dental lab, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Keep up-to-date with industry advancements, new technologies, and dental materials, and implement best practices in the laboratory.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Dental Lab Technician or a related role.
• In-depth knowledge of dental laboratory procedures, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in dental prosthetic fabrication techniques, including waxing, casting, and finishing.
• Strong understanding of dental anatomy and occlusion.
• Familiarity with dental CAD/CAM systems and digital dentistry is a plus.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the dental team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; formal dental laboratory technology education is preferred.
