ABOUT WILDFIRE ENERGY:

WildFire Energy is an independent energy company focused on the acquisition, exploitation, and production of oil and natural gas properties in the United States through the application of modern technology and production optimization. WildFire’s principal assets are located in the Brazos Valley area of the eastern Eagle Ford. Due to our rapid growth, we are adding key positions to our dynamic Land and Land Administration team. We are looking for a candidate that’s excited about growing with our company and values upward mobility as our organization expands.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an integral part of our Land Administration Team, the Owner Relations Specialist will be responsible for proactively interacting with WildFire Energy’s working owners and clients, by responding to inquires with a friendly and prompt manner while providing solutions that are both accurate and timely.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Take ownership of our Owner Relations Hotline to liaise with WildFire Energy’s royalty owners through receiving calls, emails and letters, and returning inquiries in a professional, friendly and courteous manner
• Ability to simultaneously work on multiple owner inquiries and maintain an effective management of high-volume transactions
• Knowledgeable experience with answering owner inquiries covering a span of topics to include, but not limited to: division orders, joint-interest billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.
• Meticulous attention to detail when logging all owner inquiries, documenting and tracking any unresolved issues, and providing status updates to owners in a timely manner
• Skilled in professionally navigating challenging situations with owners in a calm and respectful manner, escalating to management when needed
• Partner with various departments in the organization including Revenue, Land and Joint Interest Billing (JIB)
• Maintain working knowledge of ongoing WildFire Energy projects that could impact owners
• Initiate resourceful research methods to address and resolve owner inquiries

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Proficiency in the use and application of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and the ability to learn new software or applications, additionally:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and strong interpersonal skills
• Great active-listening skills
• High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
• Demonstrated knowledge of upstream oil and gas Land/Land Administration
• Highly-driven, self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions
• Experience working in a call center/help desk environment preferred

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
• 2-5+ years of relevant industry Land/Land Administration work experience
