About the role:

Junior AR/OTC Accountant supports the process of revenue recording or revenue accounting in day-to-day activities for countries in HN GBS Finance Services scope. With support and under close supervision of senior accountants, Jr Accountant ensures that incoming payments received daily are allocated to the correct accounts in a timely manner to minimize account discrepancies through research and query resolution. Person in charge also covers activities related to sales reconciliation, preparation and processing of relevant journal entries, booking manual invoices and credit memos and bad debts write-offs.

Person liaises with counterparts and local Business and Customer Support Group to resolve customer disputes and/or issues surrounding the account.

In scope of AR/OTC Revenue Accounting team, person prepares journal entries, reconciles A/R accounts, performs relevant management reporting, and completes Sales... Register to G/L reconciliation.

In this role you will:
• Active communication with internal customers and business units to ensure smooth process of cash application
• Compliance with financial policies and procedures related to the process
• Active participation in projects, improvements and standardization process
• Responsible for meeting the defined SLAs, KPI reporting
• Ensure all areas of work comply with the relevant SOX rules
• Daily sales reconciliation
• Reconciliation of A/R related accounts
• Relevant journal entries preparation and processing
• Manual Invoices, Credit Memos, Payments Application and Processing
• Chargebacks, refunds and buy backs processing
• Bad Debt write-offs processing
• HFF for DS cash contributions processing
• Comparison of payment details with open receivables booked on customer account
• Research payment discrepancies
• Processing of manual journal entries
• Follow up on the issues related to cash application
• Proactive approach in resolution of unapplied cash
• Month End Close activities
• Reconciliation of Sales Register to G/L
• Review REV & COS Accrual reports
• Preparing of ad hoc reports, status updates
• Interacts with all levels of the Global Business Services Centre Krakow and process stakeholders from other Herbalife entities
• May propose improvements as part of own area of responsibility

Our Requirements:
• High education in accounting/finance or/and other related field - finished or in progess
• MS Office, Oracle (or the other ERP system) knowledge
• Experience of Excel to at least intermediate level
• Very good command of English (min. B2 level) and native Polish is a must
• Willingness to develop in related area
• High customer service skills - emails and calls handling
• Strong analytical, process improvement and conceptual mindset
• Proven ability to work under pressure
• Customer focused individual
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with SSC or Outsourcing environment is very welcome
