Are you a talented and passionate Music Teacher looking for a new opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a full-time Music Teacher to join an OFSTED 'Good' School in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The position is available to start ASAP and will last until July 2023, with the potential for future extension.The school is conveniently located in the East Riding of Yorkshire and is easily accessible from different areas of Hull and the East Riding via car and public transport. The school has a large onsite car park that is free to use. It is an OFSTED 'Good' School with a supportive and inclusive ethos, offering a positive and nurturing learning environment for both students and staff.The school are looking for a Music Teacher who can teach thier subject to GCSE Level. Ideally if the candidate could cover Drama as well (5 lessons per week), that would be a huge advantage and would be extremely desirable. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for:Delivering engaging... and effective Music lessons to students of all abilities, in line with the National Curriculum.Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies and resources.Assessing and evaluating students' progress, providing constructive feedback, and setting targets for improvement.Managing the classroom effectively, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.Providing extra support and guidance to students who require additional help, including those with special educational needs.Participating in school events, performances, and extracurricular activities related to Music.Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the school's Music curriculum development.Undertaking marking and assessment duties in a timely and accurate manner.To work with Tradewind Recruitment and be considered for this Music Teacher position, you will need to meet the following requirements:Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.Have experience teaching Music to students of varying ages and abilities.Be knowledgeable about the National Curriculum for Music.Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Have the ability to engage, inspire, and motivate students.Be organized, reliable, and committed to professional development.Hold a DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one).Provide at least 2 satisfactory references.Submit a CV with full career history.Have a valid right to work in the UK
